Kickball Romance – Real Wedding Feature

What some may call a love story, Erin and Jason call a “kickball romance.” They shared their big day with us at 1840s Plaza, and when asked what their story was, this is how Erin replied:

“When people ask, ‘How did you guys meet?,’ we tell them that we were a ‘kickball romance.’ In actuality, the first time we met was about a year before we started playing together, but it was on the Kickball League of Baltimore (KLOB) team, Ken’s Kids, where we got to know each other, both during and after games. Baltimore has played a huge role in our relationship. Our first kiss was shared after the Orioles’ opening day. Our first official date was to see a play at the Hippodrome. We moved into our first home together in Patterson Park, right next to the kickball fields where we met. Jason even proposed on top of the Brewers Hill apartment building on New Years Day with the Natty Boh Tower in the distance. We definitely wanted to represent Baltimore at our wedding and the 1840s City Lites room was just what we were looking for!”
